A strong local government begins with a clear, well-structured Charter. I grew up in Sarasota, where my husband, Stevan, and I live, work, and remain deeply rooted in our community.
My commitment to public service was shaped early on by watching my father, Jim Tollerton, dedicate many years to serving our community, including his long-term service on the Sarasota Memorial Hospital Board. That example instilled in me a respect for thoughtful governance and civic responsibility.
As a Sarasota business owner with a professional background in benefits and risk management, I understand the importance of sound frameworks, long-term thinking, and accountability — principles that are essential when reviewing and safeguarding our County Charter. I care deeply about protecting the integrity of Sarasota County government while ensuring it remains transparent, efficient, and responsive to the people it serves. If elected, I will approach this role with diligence, fairness, and respect for the responsibility entrusted to the Board. Thank you for your confidence in me.
